CHF 412.0M
Total Basel fair-week spend, isolated from Baselworld and Swissbau. ≈ CHF 58.9M/day across six days.
Art-Basel-only isolation. Captures only Tuesday–Sunday of fair week. Excludes Baselworld and Swissbau (which BAK Economics bundles into a single MCH Group number). Built from anonymous capture flow + hotel occupancy + restaurant POS partner data + retail card-spend partner data + civic-tax shoulder data, all k≥50 anonymized. Excludes capital goods (booth construction). Numbers are seeded; methodology is the deliverable.
What this replaces
"The BAK Economics MCH Group report bundles Art Basel revenue with Baselworld and Swissbau. No isolated number exists publicly."
— BAK Economics, Wirtschaftliche Bedeutung MCH Group (2023). Troviii's civic layer isolates the Art Basel number for the first time.

Which neighborhood merchant got fair-week traffic, year-over-year, traced back to the specific saved artist world that routed it.
bakery · Kleinbasel · Riehentorstrasse
Bz Basel (June 2023) documented Bäckerei Kult flipping from invisible neighborhood spot to fair-week destination after a single Art Basel guide mention. Troviii routes from saved artist worlds replicate the effect and make it measurable per-route.

Side-show measurement · year-over-year
Each satellite venue's fair-week footfall, the share that crossed over from Art Basel, and the share Troviii routed there.
| Venue | Fair-week footfall | YoY | Crossover with Art Basel | Troviii attribution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Parcours · Art Basel public-art route alternative-venue Public-art route along Clarastrasse → Rhine. Troviii's primary capture node ('parcours-clarastrasse') sits here. ~47% of Parcours visitors save at least one node back into their thread. | 22,100 | +18% vs Parcours 2024 | 100% | 47% |
Basel Social Club alternative-venue Alternative venue producing the strongest YoY growth. Troviii captures ~41% of attendees as also-saved-an-artist-world — the wedge for emerging-collector retention. | 6,200 | +58% vs BSC 2024 (first full year) | 92% | 41% |
Schaulager museum Bridget Riley study room programming made it the fair-week destination for Riley-curious collectors — the same thread the Selma capture (Loop 1) routes into. | 11,800 | +34% vs Art Basel 2024 | 61% | 32% |
Kunsthalle Basel kunsthalle The 'After Op' group show is the named exhibition Troviii routes to in Selma's interpretation card. Visible spike in the during-fair pulse. | 9,400 | +22% vs Art Basel 2024 | 54% | 28% |
Fondation Beyeler foundation The single largest non-fair side-show destination. Troviii's expanding-show chip on artist worlds routes ~19% of attendees here; the rest is owned-channel + concierge. | 28,400 | +11% vs Art Basel 2024 | 78% | 19% |
Liste Art Fair satellite-fair Liste is the emerging-gallery satellite that runs Tuesday–Sunday alongside Art Basel. Troviii attribution is lower because Liste already has its own audience; the lift is concentrated in the Statements-curious overlap segment. | 19,600 | +8% vs Liste 2024 | 81% | 14% |

Methodology + k-anonymization + partner data sources
Methodology
All counts k≥50 anonymized. No PII captured or rendered. Merchant attribution requires either (a) merchant POS partner integration, (b) merchant opt-in to be named, or (c) k≥50 aggregate without naming. Year-over-year baselines built from Troviii's prior-edition saved data plus public BAK + Hotelverein figures. Federal visibility from public press monitor.
Pause / re-approach / capture-share is the same k≥50-floor anonymization used for gallery dashboards. Merchant attribution requires either merchant opt-in to be named, POS partner integration, or k≥50 aggregate without naming.
