Trinity May Ball 2026.
A night composed of scenes, rituals, and objects, not stages.
Each scene is a place, time, and mood inside the world.
Arrival
The threshold. Guests cross the porter's lodge and the world opens.
Dinner
Long candlelit tables in Hall. Flower installations span the centre line.
First Court
After dinner, guests spill into Great Court. The night begins to layer.
Hidden Garden
A side passage off Nevile's Court opens onto a small botanical court. Lanterns. A bar. Botanical drinks.
Midnight
The clock strikes twelve. Coupes are raised across all courts simultaneously.
Chapel Performance
Cellist in the chapel between 1 and 3am. Hourly programme. Intimate, classical, cinematic.
Alumni Memory Room
A small archive room curated by Trinity Society. Guests are invited to add one memory to the album for the next May Ball.
Dawn Breakfast
The final ritual. A breakfast box claimed at sunrise on the back lawn — the survivors' object.
7 kits plug into this world. Each is a sponsor + ritual + memory + commerce template.
All kits live at /builder/ritual-kits. Activation + sponsor resonance + cohort overlap show up at /worlds/trinity-may-ball-2026/affinity.
The pamphlet for Trinity's first ball described 'a composition for the conclusion of the academic year, on the lawns and within the courts.' The 2026 committee composed the world to echo that line. Each scene is one phrase from the pamphlet.
The Hidden Garden was committee lore — a small botanical court accessible via a side passage off Nevile's that older students used to gather in. The committee made it ritual.
Every year, alumni and guests leave one written memory in the album. The album from previous years sits open on a small table at the centre of the room. The earliest entries are from 1923.
Every Trovii world is built from real source material. The committee, the archive, the program, the venue — each fragment traceable.

A world is a story universe you can enter: places, rituals, characters, objects, products all connected in one explorable system.
